Synapse: Lab Escape

The first demo of Synapse is now available.

This is the first public version of the game and marks the beginning of the testing phase. It presents the core experience and will serve as a starting point for future improvements and adjustments.

If you can play it and share feedback, report bugs, or give general impressions, it will help a lot with development.

How to Play

You wake up trapped inside a laboratory and must escape while fighting enemies and exploring the facility.

Movement

Use the following keys:

• W A S D → move around the environment.

Shooting

You can attack using the mouse buttons:

• LMB (Left Mouse Button) → primary shot.
• RMB (Right Mouse Button) → secondary shot.

Melee Attack

When close to an enemy:

• F → perform a melee attack.

Crouching / Crawling Through Tight Spaces

Some areas contain small passages.

• CTRL → crouch.
• Controller: B → crouch.

Security Cameras

Security cameras can detect and attack you.

• If a camera starts blinking:
  • dodge its attacks;
  • destroy it quickly.

Locked Doors & Codes

Some doors require 4-digit access codes.

• Explore the environment;
• search for numbers written on walls, desks, or papers;
• use the discovered codes to unlock new areas.

Objective

Explore the laboratory, survive enemy encounters, and find a way to escape.
